ARTISTIC STATEMENT
I am a dancer, teacher, and explorer. I am constantly researching the body — its power, and its limitations and wondering how our knowledge of neuroscience, physiology, and cognitive science can help us move, feel, and live better.
I am passionate about work that explores extremes while illustrating subtlety and that investigates the physical, emotional, and theatrical nature of performance. I love collaborating with artists who take risks, have big hearts, and possess an appetite for transforming imagination into movement. I enjoy tackling big ideas, impossible physical tasks, and problems that can’t be solved in a lifetime.
It is essential for me to fight for amore equitable, diverse, and inclusive community within the dance field.
